For two consecutive summers, I had the amazing opportunity to intern for the Montgomery County Community Foundation (MCCF)! During my time with MCCF, I created several types of content, including videos, photos, stories, and graphics! I also got to learn the fundamentals of a community foundation and how they impact the community. I got to interact with several people in the community while attending various events. I even got to attend a networking event hosted by the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance (IPA) to meet other interns in the GIFT program.

Another role I had was helping our with the summer camp they run every year, Camp Milligan. I got to spend many of my days with the kids capturing the memories they made during the summer. I was also tasked to create a family guide with information for parents about the summer camp.

I have learned so much for this position and it has truly influenced my goal of working for non-profits to help communities just like MCCF does on a daily basis!
