ABOUT ME
Communication is a key step to lasting impact and change.
Hello! My name is Madison Murphy, and I am a senior at Indiana University Indianapolis majoring in Communication Studies within the School of Liberal Arts. I will be graduating in May of 2025. For the past year, I have served as the Communication Intern for the IU Indianapolis Office of Student Employment. Additionally, for two consecutive summers, I held the position of Communication and Marketing Intern for the Montgomery County Community Foundation. These roles have provided me with hands-on experience and have created my passion for the communication field. Through these positions, I have gained skills in content creation, website management, newsletter writing, graphic design, and podcast production.

Outside of my internship, I have experience in photography and videography. I have been hired for photography gigs such as engagement photos and shooting for Daddy-Daughter Dances. Over the years, I have used my skills to be a volunteer videographer for Night to Shine. I bring my creativity and experience into my community work, where I have served as a volunteer social media manager and created promotional video content for my church. I also worked as a Worship Media Assistant for The Spiritual Formation Office at my previous school, Indiana Wesleyan University. I have a passion for worship, and this role allowed me to use my creativity to improve the worship experience from behind the scenes.

As I prepare for the next chapter of my professional journey, I am eager to bring my creativity, work ethic, and positive spirit to the workforce. I strive to use my skills and education to make a lasting impact in my community.
